Serve Your World!

 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 4:10-11

Here at Cornerstone Community Church, our “Serve Your World” expression is made up from the desire to have groups and individuals who are using their gifts and talents to glorify God by serving others. We serve others by demonstrating God’s love in practical ways by caring for the felt needs within our communities and sphere of influence. Simple and practical acts of kindness can open hearts to the love of Jesus for both those being served and those serving.

 

We have many ways and opportunities for you to get involved in this outreach ministry “Serve Your World”. Once a month we do ministry at local Nursing Homes and we regularly take meals and spend time with the homeless in our community.

Bible Study UPDATE! Next Wednesday, November 21st, we will NOT have Wednesday Night Bible Study. The time is 7:00PM and everyone is welcome! This is a great opportunity for parents of teenagers to join this Bible study. You can bring your teens to our Youth Group on Wednesdays nights at 6:30PM and stay for the Bible study! Corporate Prayer! Join us TONIGHT for corporate prayer at 7:00PM! Next Thursday night corporate prayer will be CANCELLED for Thanksgiving! Pursuing His Presence will be CANCELLED this month!

Thanksgiving Outreach! We are excited for the opportunity we have as the body of Christ to meet a need in our community. The Miriam’s House has a need for non-perishable food items for homeless and low-income women & children. This Thanksgiving we want to help meet their need! This Sunday is the last Sunday to bring your donations to Cornerstone! A full list of suggested non-perishable food items is available under the "Current News" tab. Thank you!
